Each store is lead by a dedicated, professional manager who has a wealth of experience within the horse community and spends much of their free time on and around their own horses. Chris Shaw purchased his first store 1995. Since then he has grown the business into a multi-location retail establishment serving all of California. In his riding career, Chris was an Event rider and rode through the Advanced level. He has a background in Dressage as well as the Jumper industry. Chris served seven years on the national Board of Governors and Executive Committee of the USEA. Following that he served as a Trustee and Chairman of the USEA Endowment Trust for another Three years. Chris is married to his beautiful wife and is blessed with two fantastic daughters. Outside of running his business, Chris is an avid wing-shooter and enjoys hunting in Mexico and South America. He is passionate about baseball, reading the daily news paper, and gin martinis.
