Shaw’s Saddlery is a premier tack store with one fixed store and two part-time mobile stores serving riders in northern and southern California. The Shaw’s Saddlery mobile stores are designed to serve the specialized needs of the competitive rider. Currently there are two Shaw’s Saddlery mobile stores serving the hunter/jumper community. Shaw’s Saddlery mobile managers know the inventory and are ready to meet the demands of their clients and their discipline.

A Message from Mr. Shaw

I’m often asked “what are you doing?” Aside from the rhetorical aspect of the question, the answer is: “trying to build the premier retail tack business in the Western U.S.” The concept sounds simple on the surface, but as with most things, it is a complicated, ongoing process. Currently, Shaw’s Saddlery has the two largest “bricks & mortar” tack stores in Northern California. Additionally, we run the three largest mobile tack stores in all of California. Our plans include additional mobile units, on-line shopping, and further expansion in strategic areas.

At Shaw’s Saddlery, we employ a uniform retail experience that rivals the best of any shopping experience in the country. Each of our stores stock very large inventories of the best brands on the market. Our philosophy is to carry brands that our clients are looking for and that meet our standards of quality. Shaw’s Saddlery stocks only items and brands that we can proudly stand behind.
